Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference to the lives of local residents and communities? We are seeking a Places and Community Partnership Co-ordinator to help us deliver a range of services and activities in priority estates and schemes.
Reporting to the Community Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of local actions plans and programmes for community partnership activities in priority estates/schemes/locations as part of our wider Place and Community Statement.
This is a hybrid role covering our North London region covering areas such as Hackney, Islington and Tower Hamlets.
You will co-operate with relevant partners to promote and deliver social, environmental and economic wellbeing activities in Southern Housing (SH) localities. You will design activities and interventions making measurable impacts on residents and communities satisfaction within their localities/neighbourhoods.
You will establish connections and partnerships with local authority and community voluntary sector partners to deliver our place and community objectives. You will develop ways of valuing the voice and experience of residents ensuring this informs the shaping of local plans and priorities including devise, run and coordinate the delivery of community partnerships projects. Supporting our local custodian work, you will also ensure the projects and programmes have measurable impact for Southern Housing residents in target localities.
*Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract.
What you will need:
Good understanding of running community projects with residents groups, Local Authorities and CVS partner agencies
Understanding social Impact and operational services for young persons support; health & wellbeing support services; community services, charity activities; community assets or social enterprise management
Demonstrable experience of effectively working within multi-agency project teams
Knowledge of community projects
Experience in residents/community involvement and promotional campaigns and activities.
