Knead Neapolitan Pizza is looking for a passionate, well-organised and enthusiastic Pizza Chef
to join our close-knit team.
Knead is an independent, family-run business, who put staff wellbeing at the forefront of everything we do.
This is your chance to work for a value-led company in our pizzeria in Maidenhead .
We have been buoyed by the support shown by locals since we opened in December 2022 and as such we are looking to expand our team to encompass 7-day opening. This job would suit a confident pizza chef who is experienced in opening pizzas by hand - no dough rollers here so expect dusty knuckles!
Key requirements:
Experience using stone base pizza ovens (electric, gas or wood) is essential. You will be using a state of the art Manna Forni MFE6 electric oven, the first in the UK Value the use of sustainable & ethical suppliers Exceptional hygiene practices An appetite to learn, reliable nature and an ability to work under pressure Being a good team player and a generally nice person with a positive attitude are also key
as is a passion for proper pizza! Fluent English speaker Pre-settled status or UK resident Expectations:
Making fresh dough daily using our flour from Wildfarmed, pioneers in regenerative farming Able to open pizza by hand at speed to consistently high standards Daily temperature checks and helping to maintain a kitchen of the highest standard Contribute ideas to new menu items What we will do for you:
