This People Partner role supports the delivery of the People strategy across the business, working closely with senior level stakeholders, building trusted partnerships.Using people data to inform decisions, you will coach managers, support capability development, manage performance and calibration cycles and ensure policies, job descriptions and workforce plans are clear and aligned to business priorities.What you’ll be doing:Support implementation of the People strategy and functional people plans in line with business prioritiesBuild strong stakeholder relationships with Chief and Directors.Understand people data and contribute to analysis and insights into functional people needs and opportunitiesSupport the management of performance and calibration processes across the function, geographies or channelSupport talent mapping and identification of high-potential and high-performance talent across functions, geographies and/or channelIdentify functional People Manager capability gaps and actively manage solutionsManage ER caseload within the function, geography or channelCoach People Managers on performance and development opportunities for them and their teamSupport the implementation of learning & development solutions for high potential/high-performance talentUnderstand monthly/quarterly headcount reports and activity vs. budgetEnsure people policies are clearly written, communicated and up to date with current employment legislationUnderstand and support critical hires required for business prioritiesEnsure job descriptions are clearly written and aligned to job grading criteriaSupport internal mobility and resourcing decisions that support business prioritiesUnderstand and support long-term workforce planning and organisation designSupport strategic people change initiativesSupport the execution of any functional restructure processesContribute to the execution of functional pay review process with TR (market rate changes, promotions, step ups and bonus distribution etc)Contribute to the promotion proposal and decision process; calibrating proposals across functionsAd-hoc involvement of people change initiatives as requiredWhat you’ll need:Essential Criteria:Full CIPD qualifiedPrevious business partnering experience within a generalist or specialist role.Ability to build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholdersKnowledge and awareness of global employment legislation and practicesUp to date with legislation, external trends and best practiceExperience in influencing senior managementGreat verbal and written communication for a wide range of audiencesHighly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointSelf‑motivated, proactive, detail, conscious, results‑oriented, able to stay calm under pressure and inspiring the same in othersAble to work autonomously, in a risk‑taking, fast paced environmentNaturally curious, self‑driven with a passion for understanding stakeholders and meeting their needsAgile to change and pragmaticCommercial awareness and a creative problem solver with the ability to think laterally and understand the cost and value drivers within a competitive business environmentHigh degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitasExcellent judgement and analytical skills
