Job DetailsPay scheme: OtherSalary: Depending on experienceContract: Fixed term (12 months)Working pattern: Flexible working, Home or remote workingReference number: A5274-25-0006Job locations: i3 Ladywood Primary Care Network Practices, Birmingham B19 2ET ResponsibilitiesManage all financial operations for i3 Ladywood Primary Care Network and i3 Primary Care Network Limited, ensuring accurate submission of monthly financial returns and payroll information.Oversee the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARR) finances, coordinate workforce plans, and monitor practice budgets.Process reimbursements, issue invoices, and maintain workforce and pension records.Handle day‑to‑day PCN finances, including cash flow, payments, banking, VAT returns, and financial reporting for the Executive Board.Prepare year‑end information for accountants, maintain the PCN Network Agreement, and serve as main contact for external financial and banking partners.Coordinate production of ARR Workforce Plans, submit to the ICB, and ensure payroll provider has necessary information for monthly payroll.Submit monthly ARR financial returns via the Primary Care Portal and confirm reimbursement accuracy.Monitor each practice’s notional ARR budget as part of the overall PCN financial position.Invoice practices for excess costs associated with ARR claims.Submit quarterly VAT returns to HMRC via the PCN accounting software.Maintain staff information via the online National Workforce Reporting Service (NWRS).Ensure that all information at year end is made available to the PCN Accountant for annual accounts and handle any queries. GeneralWork closely with Clinical Directors and other Managers on financial and non‑financial issues as part of the Management Team.Attend weekly Management Team meetings and other meetings as appropriate.Manage the PCN finances on a day‑to‑day basis and take lead role for dealing with outside organisations.Ensure payment to practices for services provided via PCN and payment of i3 Ladywood PCN and i3 Primary Care Network Limited invoices and payroll.Manage the PCN cash flow position, maintain cashbooks and reconcile to the bank balances.Produce financial reports for the PCN Executive Board meetings, including annual budget setting and ongoing monitoring of budgets.Act as the main contact for banking services, with the Banks Relationship Manager.
