The Opportunity
Syntech Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading electronics manufacturer at the forefront of high-spec PCBA production. Due to significant growth, we are seeking six PCBA Inspectors to join a high-precision production team.
This role is critical in ensuring that complex electronic assemblies meet the rigorous standards required for industries such as aerospace, medical, and defense. You will utilize advanced inspection technology alongside traditional visual techniques to guarantee 100% build quality.

Early Shift: Mon – Thu (06:00 – 14:15) & Fri (06:00 – 14:00)
*
Twilight Shift (4-Day Week): Mon – Thu (13:00 – 23:00)
*
Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week plus a 15% salary uplift.
Key Responsibilities
*
Technical Inspection: Operation of high-end inspection machinery including AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), Flying Probe (FPT), QUINS, and X-Ray equipment.
*
Visual Precision: Conducting detailed microscopic and camera-aided inspections of SMT and PTH assemblies to identify solder defects, component polarity issues, or placement errors.
*
Quality Feedback: Working closely with SMT and Soldering technicians to provide real-time feedback, ensuring continuous improvement in build quality.
*
Standards Compliance: Ensuring all assemblies adhere to IPC-A-610 standards and specific customer requirements.
*
Fault Finding: Assisting in the investigation of customer returns and identifying root causes at the component level.
*
Documentation: Maintaining accurate digital inspection logs and following strict data policies.
Technical Experience Required
*
Electronics Background: Proven experience in a PCBA inspection or quality control role within an electronics manufacturing environment.
*
Microscope Proficiency: Highly skilled in performing visual inspections under magnification for extended periods.
*
Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret digital work instructions, circuit diagrams, and BOMs (Bills of Materials).
*
Analytical Eye: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot minute defects in high-density boards.
*
Advantageous Skills: Formal IPC-A-610 certification or experience with X-Ray and Flying Probe testing is highly desirable.
