Contract: Permanent/ Part Time

The Role

A standalone payroll position responsible for managing the full payroll function for a mid-sized workforce.

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage end-to-end payroll for c.270 employees

* Maintain and update payroll data including starters, leavers and changes

* Process statutory payments and ensure HMRC compliance

* Handle payroll queries from employees and managers

* Prepare payroll reports and support reconciliations

* Liaise with external bodies such as HMRC and pension providers

The Ideal Candidate

* Strong payroll experience with end-to-end processing

* Experience using iTrent (highly desirable)

* Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation

* High attention to detail and accuracy

* Able to work independently and manage deadlines

* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
