An 'Outstanding' Secondary School in the Borough of Camden is seeking a Pastoral Support - Graduate to provide wellbeing support to pupils across KS3-KS5. This is a full-time role starting in September 2025.
The Head Teacher is keen to speak to academically gifted graduates looking to gain experience with SEMH needs or those looking to pursue a career in teaching. You will be responsible for the pastoral management of the student body and work closely with the Student Support Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to pursue careers in pastoral care, wellbeing, and behaviour management.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Supporting the wellbeing and pastoral care of KS3-KS5 on a daily basis
- Working closely with senior leadership to coordinate care and support for pupils
- Assisting students of varying ages and abilities, including those with SEND/SEMH needs
- September 2025 start with potential Teacher Training opportunities from September 2026
- Full-Time, Long-Term role - 08:00 - 16:00
- Based in Camden, North West London
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- 1ST Class/2:1 graduate from a reputable university
- Strong academics across the board, including A-Levels and GCSEs
- Passionate about pupil support and working with young people
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bubbly and charismatic personality, and approachable
- Confident in understanding and knowledge of KS3-KS5 curriculums
