We're working on the behalf of an established business looking for a Finance Manager to join their friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day financial reporting whilst supporting strategic decision making. Duties will include:
Providing financial advice on all matters
Preparation of annual accounts for audit by Company Accountants, accruals and prepayments, debtors and creditors, income and expenditure. Preparation of audit schedules, liaising with audit team
Maintaining Sage 50 to record all income and expenditure, preparation of trial balance, income statement and balance sheet
Maintaining fixed asset register and calculating depreciations
Management of bank accounts / investments
Preparation of annual Budgets to determine levels of spending and advising / presenting to Finance Committee
Monitoring income and expenditure against budget throughout the year
Attendance to finance meetings with senior team
Other general finance duties as needed
You will need previous experience in financial accounting, budgeting / forecasting and ideally be fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW. You will need strong planning and organisation skills and be confident communicating financial information.
The company are ideally looking for someone to work circa 22.5 hours per week. There is an excellent pension scheme
