Part time Rural Coordinator – 4 days a week

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented person for the position of part time Rural Coordinator to join a fabulous and close knit team on a rural estate on the outskirts of Hertford. The role will suit an individual with a good general knowledge and ideally, suitable experience of working farms, combined with strong administrative and practical qualities, to support the Head of Rural in the office and on the ground when required.

This role is a nice mixture of general office support alongside sometimes working out on the field. A full driving licence is essential for this position.

This is a part time position and will ideally be 4 days a week (28 hours a week), although some flexibility may occasionally be required.

General Support

* Serve as the first point of contact and service for rural enquiries, appointments, sitevisits, utility works, etc. Actively support the Head of Rural by acting on these enquiries and, where appropriate, meet visitors/contractors/reps on site to handle the matter, applying judgement wherever appropriate.

* Assist with the coordination of deliveries on farm and attend site(s) to take deliveries.

* Run errands to suppliers, dealers and other third parties upon request of the Head of Rural.
