Part-Time HR OfficerLocation: South Bristol (Office-based)Salary: £32,000 £34,000 per annum (pro rata)Hours: Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day or Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7.5 hours per dayWe are recruiting for a Part-Time HR Officer to join a busy HR team within a dynamic sports and entertainment environment based in South Bristol.This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a fast-paced and varied role, supporting employees throughout their lifecycle while delivering a high-quality HR service. You will be part of a collaborative team that enjoys solving queries, supporting managers and ensuring a positive employee experience.The RoleAs HR Officer, you will support the HR department in delivering comprehensive HR support across the organisation, ensuring compliance with employment legislation while providing practical guidance to managers and employees.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, capability and performance managementSupport employee relations investigations and assist with resolution processesContribute to the development and review of HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practiceMaintain accurate and confidential employee records within the HR information systemSupport managers with probationary reviews, performance management and appraisalsPrepare and issue employment contracts, offer letters and contractual amendmentsProduce monthly absence reports and coordinate occupational health referralsSupport the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting adverts, job descriptions and person specificationsAssist hiring managers with interview processes and ensure a consistent and compliant recruitment approachLead the onboarding process for new employeesSupport the development of training initiatives for staff and managersManage apprenticeship levy records and complianceAssist managers with absence management processes and referrals to occupational healthEnsure accurate HR information is provided for payroll processingSupport employee engagement initiatives and HR projectsAssist with health and safety administration, including tracking training and supporting weekly checksAbout YouYou will be a proactive and organised HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers and employees and can confidently manage a varied workload.Essential Skills & ExperienceDemonstrable employee relations experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organised with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently and use initiativeDesirableCIPD Level 5 qualificationStrong Excel skillsThis role offers the opportunity to work within a unique and energetic environment, supporting a wide range of employees and contributing to a positive workplace culture.JBRP1_UKTJ
