Job Title: Part time Behaviour Support Worker - Lunchtime Location: Plumstead, South East London Salary: Scale 3 £7,140 per annum Job Type: Part Time, Permanent Hours: 10 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week (38 weeks per year). About The Role: As a part time Behaviour Support Worker your role will be to supervise students and to uphold the school's behaviour code and framework. You will: * Supervise and monitor students across the site during lunch time, ensuring timely transition to lessons. * Understand and implement the school's behaviour policy issuing rewards and sanctions as appropriate. * Support staff in implementing a restorative approach in promoting positive behaviour for learning. * Carry out first aid duties (training will be provided). * Support student prefects and ambassadors in carrying out their roles. About You: * You should have level 2 qualifications or equivalent in English and Maths * You Should have experience of working with children and young people (experience in a secondary school or youth work setting is desirable). * You should also have a commitment to the school's Equal Opportunities Policy.
