CMS Recruitment are seeking hardworking painter and decorator on a permanent basis to join our well know property maintenance client working across Northumberland. Duties and Responsibilities: To deliver high-quality painting and decorating works across occupied domestic homes, void properties, and commercial/facilities buildings. The Painter & Decorator ensures surfaces are finished to a professional standard, contributes to property condition and appearance, and supports the organisations commitment to safe, well-maintained and compliant environments. Work must be completed efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption to tenants, staff, and building users. Key Responsibilities Carry out internal and external painting using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Treat damp and mould by safely removing affected areas, washing and preparing surfaces, and applying anti-mould treatments followed by appropriate finishing paints. Undertake preparation work including sanding, filling, making-good, washing down, stabilising surfaces, and applying primers/undercoats. Complete wallpaper hanging including lining paper, feature walls, and full-room applications where required.
