Paint Surface Preparation Technician
to join a busy manufacturing/automotive team in
Leamington Spa . This is a great opportunity for someone with strong prep skills and a keen eye for detail, looking for stable weekday work and a solid hourly rate. Key Responsibilities Preparing vehicle parts/panels for paint (sanding, flatting, keying and de-nibbing) Masking and protecting areas prior to painting Cleaning and degreasing panels to ensure paint-ready surfaces Filling, minor repairs and surface finishing where required Using hand and air tools safely (e.g., DA sanders, blocks, abrasives) Checking surfaces for imperfections and ensuring a high-quality finish Working to job sheets and quality standards Keeping the work area clean, tidy and compliant with health & safety Requirements Previous experience in
paint prep / surface preparation
