The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of the programme across OT risk, operational resilience, and security uplift initiatives. Please see a list of requirements below: Key Responsibilities Assess current OT/ICS environments to identify gaps across network architecture, segmentation, asset management, remote access patterns, monitoring, resilience, and control maturity. Define, validate, and guide the implementation of foundational OT controls and operational practices that enhance risk visibility, resilience, and alignment to IEC 62443. Contribute to and influence the development of the OT transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business risk priorities, operational constraints, and resilience objectives. Support prioritisation and sequencing of remediation and uplift activities across OT systems and sites, advising on risk, impact, and feasibility. Act as a design authority and consulting partner for OT target-state architecture, network models, secure zone & conduit frameworks, and integration patterns. Review and evaluate supplier proposals, OT system designs, and engineering changes, providing constructive advisory feedback that ensures alignment to standards and transformation intent. Assist in defining and maturing OT governance frameworks, including change control, configuration management, incident management integration, and lifecycle management. Support the review and uplift of OT technical standards, guidance documents, architectural blueprints, and reference models. Contribute to development of OT risk assessment, maturity models, and ongoing assurance processes. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities to uplift internal OT capability across operations, engineering, IT, and supporting functions. Provide senior stakeholders and leadership teams with trusted OT risk insight, technical direction, and progress reporting throughout the transformation. Skills & Experience Deep real-world OT / ICS experience in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or critical infrastructure sectors. Strong understanding of OT environments, industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC-UA, Profinet), and operational constraints. Proven experience in OT architecture, risk assessment, governance frameworks, and transformation advisory roles. Practical experience applying IEC 62443 principles to OT architecture, controls, and governance. Experience engaging with engineering, operations, integrators, and vendors in a consulting or advisory capacity. Strong conceptual knowledge of network segmentation, resilience planning, asset inventory practices, secure remote access considerations, and monitoring strategies within OT. Ability to influence and steer technical decisions while balancing operational requirements, constraints, and risk priorities. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract. Must be an EU Citizen.
