We’re looking for an experienced Logistics /Operations Manager to lead the logistics function at the Haslingden site. This is a key role driving efficiency, accuracy, and safety in the movement, storage, and dispatch of goods - all while motivating and developing a high-performing team.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you’ll be responsible for overseeing goods in, stock control, issuing to manufacturing, and final dispatch to customers. You’ll maintain exceptional operational standards, champion health & safety, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Lead and inspire the warehouse and logistics team Ensure goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately Maintain stock control processes, applying FIFO and shelf-life rules Drive process improvements using lean supply chain techniques Ensure compliance with ISO9001 & ISO45001 standards Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and housekeeping
What We’re Looking For
Proven leadership experience in warehouse/logistics management Strong stock control and process improvement skills Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality and ISO45001 Health & Safety procedures Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word
