Operations Manager (Mental Health) - Registered Services\n\n£50,087 per annum (full time equivalent), £40,070 per annum pro rata for 30 hours per week\n\nBirmingham\n\nPermanent\n\n30 Hours per week\n\nFounded in 1962, our organisation is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, affiliated with Mind. Known for our high-quality support, we play a key role in Birmingham's mental health system and collaborate with local organisations to challenge the stigma surrounding mental distress.\n\nWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Operations Manager – Registered Services to join our leadership team.

You will be one of a team of four Operations Managers who oversee all front-line services at Birmingham Mind.\n\nLine managed by the Deputy Director of Operations, this role is strategically important to our delivery of recovery-based services within Birmingham’s mental health system.\n\nKey Responsibilities will include:\n\n· Work with the Director of Operations, Deputy Director of Operations, and other Operations Managers to co-create and deliver the operations development plan\n\n· Line manage the service managers responsible for each area and support other team members as appropriate.\n\n· Ensure services are delivered in line with Birmingham Mind’s strategic vision and values.\n\n· Ensure that the service(s) is being delivered in line with commissioning requirements, service user wishes and in line with local and policy and best practice.\n\n· Flexibility to occasionally work outside of usual hours.\n\n· Take part in Birmingham Mind’s senior on call rota.\n\nThe Successful Candidate will have:\n\n· Experience of working in a CQC regulated service.\n\n· Good working knowledge of relevant mental health and housing legislation and how it applies to service delivery.\n\n· Knowledge of and commitment to the Recovery model of mental health support\n\n· Experience of mental ill health, either personally or professionally\n\n· Good working knowledge of safeguarding and able to deal effectively with safeguarding issues\n\n· Familiar with good practice in data protection and able to support managers and staff to comply with any requirements\n\nStaff benefits include an attractive defined contribution pension scheme, PayCare which offers employees affordable cover for a range of healthcare treatments, an Employee Assistance Programme which includes free counselling, a cycle to work scheme, and a comprehensive training programme.\n\nBirmingham Mind is extremely proud to have a diverse workforce that is reflective of the communities that we work with.
