Operations Lead (Technical M&E) | London | £85k + Great Package

A flagship, high-profile commercial building in London is undergoing a major transformation, and we are looking for an Operations Lead to take ownership of site performance, client delivery, and team leadership.

This is not a pure engineering role. You will sit at the centre of operations, leading from the front, driving standards, and acting as the key interface between technical teams and a demanding client.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading a team of 7 across engineering support, compliance, and helpdesk
• Owning client relationships and delivering a best-in-class occupier experience
• Driving operational excellence across a complex, high-value environment
• Supporting a major refurbishment and ongoing transformation programme
• Ensuring commercial awareness across contracts, suppliers, and spend

What we’re looking for:

• Strong M&E / engineering background (degree or apprenticeship)
• Proven experience in a critical or high-value environment (finance, pharma, etc.)
• Confident client-facing operator with excellent communication skills
• Commercially aware with the ability to challenge and improve performance
• Digitally savvy, forward-thinking, and comfortable with AI-driven environments
