Nursery Practitioner – Outstanding Ofsted Nursery | Barnet

Location: Barnet, North London (Near Finchley Underground Station – Northern Line) Position: Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Between 8:00am–6:00pm Salary: £24,500 – £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

The Role

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join an enthusiastic, passionate, and highly skilled team. You will play a key role in supporting children’s early development, delivering engaging EYFS-led activities, and helping to maintain the nursery’s outstanding standards of care and education.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children

* Planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS

* Supporting children’s emotional, social, and physical development

* Observing, recording, and supporting children’s progress

* Working collaboratively with a dedicated and friendly team

* Building strong, positive relationships with parents and carers

✅ What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you’ll need:

* Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)

* Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner

* A positive, enthusiastic, and caring attitude

* A clear Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

* Strong communication skills and fluent spoken English

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team

* A genuine passion for early years education and child development
