About our Nursery Busy Bees Nottingham Daybrook is an Ofsted-rated Good nursery with a capacity of 123, providing an exciting opportunity for staff to join a nurturing and stimulating environment. Our nursery features a wide range of age-appropriate facilities that encourage children to develop at their own pace and engage with peers in similar developmental stages. With large separate garden areas, children can extend their learning outdoors, exploring their imagination and independence while enjoying the fresh air.Located just off the A60 on Sir John Robinson Way, our nursery is just a 20-minute drive from Nottingham City Centre and close to the M1 at Junction 26, making it easily accessible for commuting staff. Additionally, there is a bus stop nearby serving route 19, along with free parking for those who drive.

Role Responsibilities: What to Expect as a Nursery Practitioner:

Create a Safe, Stimulating Environment: Prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children's growth and learning.

Lead Educational Activities: Plan and deliver activities that support children's physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Person Role: Oversee children’s development, care needs, and build strong family connections.

Required Qualifications: What We’re Looking For

Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.

Proven experience in working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education

Skills: Good communication capable or, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to apply knowledge of child development to plan and deliver activities.
