Nuclear Safety Case Practitioner

Supports the nuclear portfolio at AECOM (predominantly Civil) by maintaining resource competence (SQEP) and delivering safety cases on projects. Builds relationships with clients to ensure a 'right first time' approach, and advises on regulatory compliance, standards, and guidance. Supports interactions with regulators and safety committees, and applies knowledge to resolve emergent issues.

Development and Knowledge Sharing:

• Mentors and coaches the nuclear safety case team.
• Contributes to nuclear safety training and knowledge sharing initiatives.
• Keeps informed of new developments affecting nuclear safety practices.

We are expanding our Nuclear Team and seek an experienced Safety Case Expert to join us. You will work on multidisciplinary projects throughout their lifecycle, from consultancy to turnkey solutions. The ideal candidate has a passion for nuclear safety, a track record of developing safety cases, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications:

• Honours or Masters degree in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Chartership (or working towards) in a STEM field.
• Experience in developing nuclear safety cases.
• Ability to mentor and coach others.
