Job Type / Category Full time - 45 hours per week Monday to Friday - 07.30 to 16.30 Alternate Weekends on call Required Qualifications/Experience: Must be fluent in verbal and written English. Experience in a care/nursing home setting is essential. Experience in a deputy/manager role is essential. A good understanding of HR processes is essential. NVQ 4 or higher in Health and Social Care is preferable but not essential. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the Registered Manager - work closely with the Registered Manager to manage the care home, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards. Staff Management - includes supervising, motivating, and supporting care staff, as well as assisting with recruitment, training, and performance management. Ensuring Quality Care

maintain high standards of care, promoting person-centered approaches, and ensuring residents' needs are met. Compliance and Audits - ensure the care home complies with relevant regulations and standards, participate in audits, and maintain accurate records. Communication and Relationships - fosters effective communication with residents, their families, and other professionals, building strong relationships and facilitating collaboration. Care Planning and Review - contribute to the development and review of care plans, ensuring they are person-centered and reflective of individual needs. Day-to-day Operations - be involved in various aspects of the home's daily operations, including staffing rotas, medication management, and risk assessments. Covering the Manager's Absence - In the absence of the Registered Manager, the Deputy Manager takes on responsibility for the care home's overall management, with support from the clinical lead. Out of Hours
