Facilities \n Type of Contract:  Permanent \n About Us:  GBS is a higher education provider offering a range of sector-relevant courses across ten campuses in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester. Working in partnership with several of the UK’s leading higher education providers, we deliver vocational, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in finance, accounting, business, construction, tourism, healthcare and more. \n Changing Lives through Education \n The Role:  The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and the equipment across the GBS UK estates portfolio.
They will monitor the condition of GBS buildings, undertake repairs and renovations, and assist Estates and Facilities in the planning of refurbishment projects. This role may require travel to other GBS UK campuses and demands flexible working to accommodate business operations. \n ROTA: 40-hour working week, covering campus operating hours from Monday to Sunday, 7:00am to 9:30pm, with occasional out-of-hours work as required to minimise disruption and ensure the smooth completion of maintenance tasks.
\n Preventative and Reactive Maintenance \n Building and Equipment Maintenance \n Documentation and Inventory Management \n Refurbishment and Fit-Out Projects \n Travel and Flexibility \n City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations, or equivalent NVQ, or demonstrable experience to the same standard. \n~ Previous experience in building maintenance including M&E systems. \n~ Manual skills, knowledge of refurbishment techniques.
