Network Security Engineer (Shift) (Hatfield Business Park, Hatfield, United Kingdom) Job Req ID: 46905 Cyber Security This role also requires you to work on a shift pattern (days / nights). This role exists to provide specialist technical support on complex network security and cyber security deployments for any and all of our UK contracts. Building intermate working relationships and trust through effective communication and meeting expectation and deadlines is key. As a Cyber Security Professional, you will therefore be expected to provide support in this area, working with confidence and initiative and applying excellent self management in order to promote successful outcomes.
Providing security advice and remediation to Lines of Business within BT and external customers
Completing and owning integration testing on new products and services, producing all relevant supporting documentation
Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP & OSI seven-layer model and how data networks are structured and operate
Knowledge of the best engineering practices and continuous delivery
The successful candidate must be willing to undergo Government Security Clearance to SC level, which requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 5 years
