Music Teacher – Secondary School (KS3–KS5)

ASAP Start We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our secondary school team, teaching Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5 students. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop their musical knowledge, skills, and creativity, fostering engagement and achievement across all abilities.

Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality music lessons across KS3–KS5, including curriculum planning and assessment Prepare students for examinations, performances, and recitals Encourage creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of music Support extra-curricular music activities, ensembles, and school events Monitor and report on student progress Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning Essential Skills & Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Music across KS3, KS4, and KS5 Strong classroom management and organisational skills Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities Passionate about music and extra-curricular opportunities Desirable Experience with a variety of instruments and styles Experience running school ensembles or choirs Knowledge of GCSE / A-Level Music specifications We welcome applications from enthusiastic teachers who are committed to delivering outstanding music education and fostering a love of learning in all students
