Maintenance Team Leader - Lead a Skilled Engineering Team
Location: Haverfordwest Salary: £40-45,000 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Shifts: 4 on 4 off Days
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation seeking a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Team Leader. This is a key role within the maintenance function, offering the opportunity to lead a committed team and drive operational efficiency across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers and technicians.
Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime.
Support fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Ensure the maintenance schedule is delivered effectively and efficiently.
Promote and uphold health and safety standards at all times.
Identify opportunities for improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, breakdowns, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or team leader role.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
Ability to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
Recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent).
Experience in FMCG or Food Industry is preferred but not essential.
