Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased)

£47,760 | Day Shift | Food Manufacturing | Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join a well-established food manufacturing business.

This is a day shift position within a fast-paced FMCG production environment, supporting high-speed automated lines and ensuring minimal downtime across site.

The Role

* Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance across production lines

* Electrical fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery

* Support mechanical maintenance where required

* Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime

* Assist with continuous improvement initiatives

* Ensure all work is completed in line with food safety and H&S standards

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience within food manufacturing or FMCG (essential)

* Electrically biased with strong fault-finding capability

* PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens / Allen Bradley / Omron advantageous)

* Experience with drives, motors, inverters, sensors and control systems

* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent in Engineering

* Able to work effectively in a high-volume production environment
