Department:  Facilities and Estates Location: Leeds (LS1) Type of Contract:  Permanent – 40 hrs per week Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Per Annum DOE, plus discretionary annual bonus
Join the Estates & Facilities team at Global Banking School (GBS) as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You’ll maintain, install, and refurbish building fabric and equipment across our UK campus portfolio, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient learning environments. This hands-on role combines planned and preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and support for refurbishment projects, with occasional out-of-hours work to minimise disruption. What you’ll do Planned & reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and building systems General trades: plumbing, electrical fittings, carpentry, decorating Inspections (HVAC, lighting, fire interfaces), PAT, fire door & Legionella checks Support refurbishments, installations, and campus upgrades Accurate records, stock control, and safe systems of work
What you’ll bring City & Guilds Level 2/3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent NVQ/experience). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification Proven M&E/building maintenance background, including HVAC Hands-on, proactive, flexible approach COSHH/H&S awareness and a full UK driving licence
