Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) Location: Wellingborough Salary: £45,000 Shifts: Days

The Role As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all plant and production equipment.

You will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and continuous improvement to minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities: Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on a wide range of machinery and production lines Diagnose faults, repair breakdowns and implement long-term fixes Work closely with production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability Support ongoing projects, upgrades, and installations Ensure all work complies with health & safety and site standards What We're Looking For Time-served Engineer or qualified to Level 3 (NVQ / City & Guilds) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Strong experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environment Confident with both mechanical and electrical systems (motors, drives, conveyors, hydraulics, PLC fault finding etc.) Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills Why Apply Competitive salary and overtime available Excellent benefits and company pension Ongoing training and career development opportunities Be part of a growing, forward-thinking engineering team Ready to take the next step? xbpsjku Apply now or contact Callum at CV Technical for a confidential conversation.
