ASE Recruitment are specialist recruiters in the social housing and social care sectors providing temporary staffing to work within a variety of 24 hour supported accommodation services and floating support services for Housing Associations and Charities across the Northwest, Midlands, and Derbyshire.We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to work with a leading housing association in the Bolton area ensuring properties are kept to a manageable state.This is full time temporary role with no set end date on behalf of Spirit Homes working: 8am to 5pm typically 40 Hours Weekly At a set rate of £16.15 per hour About the Role You will deliver reactive maintenance and void property works across social housing properties. Working across a regional patch, you'll complete a range of repairs to a high standard, ensuring properties are safe, compliant, and ready for residents. This is a mobile role requiring travel, independent working, and effective communication with tenants and internal teams. About You We are looking for an experienced multi-trade operative with a strong all-round skillset and a customer-focused approach. You will have: Proven experience in multiple trades including joinery, plumbing, tiling, decorating, plastering, and basic electrical work Experience working within social housing or tenanted properties Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively Strong planning skills to ensure jobs are completed right first time Good communication skills and a professional approach with residents Experience using mobile devices to record work and updates A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional out-of-hours work Full UK driving licence Own hand tools (larger tools and equipment provided) Willingness to travel and undergo a DBS check Work Van provided, including costs of fuel covered.
