Job Role & Key Responsibilities We are seeking a Multi Skilled Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of production and utility equipment. This role is essential in ensuring safe, efficient operations while minimising downtime and supporting overall manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and utility equipment Diagnose faults and resolve issues quickly to minimise operational disruption Support equipment calibration, repairs, and set-up in line with site standards Lead or contribute to problem-solving activities and engineering responses Accurately complete maintenance documentation, including work orders and logbooks Communicate effectively during shift handovers and across departments Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements Provide technical support to production and other departments as needed The Ideal Candidate will have: HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline or a time-served apprenticeship Strong multi-skilled capability across electrical and mechanical maintenance Experience within a manufacturing environment (e.g. FMCG, pharmaceutical, or similar) Proven fault-finding skills on electrical systems, including motors, drives, and sensors Solid mechanical maintenance experience (pumps, valves, bearings, gearboxes) Experience working with production or process equipment Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance processes Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Desirable Skills: Experience with PLCs and automated systems Knowledge of HVAC, water systems, or filling line equipment Calibration experience Experience working in regulated or high-care environments Ongoing professional development or additional engineering qualifications Benefits Include: Competitive salary package with shift allowance Double days shift pattern (Monday to Friday) Overtime opportunities at enhanced rates Pension scheme Holiday allowance plus bank holidays Ongoing training and development opportunities Potential for salary increase for exceptional candidates (subject to approval) If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please get in touch with us or apply below.
