Job Description

Were looking for an experienced Electrical biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a fast-paced, industrial process environment where every day brings something different.

Youll work across a modern anaerobic digestion plant with a mix of electrical, mechanical, process, and SCADA-based equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM, inspections, repairs and maintenance on plant equipment

  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and complete accurate logs

  • Support plant performance through SCADA monitoring and data checks

  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and maintain safe operating standards

  • Work to engineering specifications, schematics and safety systems

  • Manage stock, spares and supplier communication

  • Supervise contractors and maintain the permit-to-work process

  • Support project work, upgrades and continuous improvement


What Were Looking For
Essential
  • Level 3 Engineering Qualification (Electrical)

  • 18th Edition

  • At least 12 months experience in a similar engineering role

  • Good mechanical understanding

  • Experience using maintenance systems and engineering documentation

  • Ability to read drawings, diagrams and schematics

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability

  • Able to take part in an on-call rota

  • Full driving licence (or able to reliably travel to site)



Desirable
  • Experience in AD, wastewater, utilities or industrial process environments

  • Welding/fabrication skills

  • FLT, MEWP or Telehandler licence
