Key Duties
Carry out light vehicle servicing and safety checks Replace and fit brakes, suspension components, and exhaust systems Perform tyre fitting, balancing, and puncture repairs Test vehicles after repair to ensure work meets required standards Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used

No heavy mechanical work (e.g., engine rebuilds, gearbox repairs, timing chain replacements)
Skills & Experience
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in light vehicle servicing Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for vehicle repair tasks Ability to diagnose and resolve common mechanical issues accurately Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop
Wages This role offers an hourly rate of £15.50, plus a guaranteed commission structure based on the work you complete. You'll earn a percentage of every job you carry out, ensuring your hard work and efficiency are directly rewarded.
