MOT Technician Location: Edgware Salary: £36,000 £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) Monday to Friday, 08:00 17:00pm No Weekend Work Our client is a well-established, family-run and owned independent garage with a strong reputation for honest workmanship and excellent customer service.

With a loyal local customer base and a friendly, close-knit team, they are looking to recruit two skilled and reliable MOT Technicians to join their growing workshop.
The Role This position will involve carrying out a wide range of servicing, repairs, and diagnostic work.
MOT testing will form the part of the role.
You will be expected to support the workshop with a variety of day-to-day mechanical duties while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities include: Servicing and routine vehicle maintenance Brake repairs and replacements Clutch and timing belt replacement Tyre fitting and repairs Wheel alignment Diagnostics and fault finding Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards (if qualified) Identifying and reporting defects clearly and accurately Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer care About You Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent) MOT Tester qualification (class 4 required, class 7 preferred but not essential) Proven experience in a busy workshop environment Confident carrying out general mechanical repairs and diagnostics Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented approach Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence What We Offer Competitive xehkeey salary of £36,000 £40,000 depending on experience MondayFriday working hours (8am5pm) No weekend work Clean and organised workshop Friendly, family-run working environment Supportive and experienced team Long-term stability within a respected independent garage This is an excellent opportunity for a MOT Technician looking for a stable, well-paid role within a family-run garage that values its team, offers consistent weekday hours, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
