Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We are currently working with a well-established automotive client who is looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover the Milton Keynes area. This is a permanent position offering a strong salary package, stable workload, and the opportunity to work primarily on light commercial vehicles (vans).

The Role

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of servicing, maintenance, and repair work at customer locations. The role is van-based and focuses mainly on LCVs, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service are delivered consistently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on vans

  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently

  • Completing all work to manufacturer and safety standards

  • Accurately completing job cards and reports

  • Providing a professional and reliable mobile service to customers

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mobile Technician

  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

  • Experience working on vans / light commercial vehicles is highly desirable

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
