Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll be responsible for keeping customer equipment running safely and efficiently:

Carry out on-site diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on Forklift and material-handling equipment

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks

Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

Replace or repair faulty parts and components

Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation

Provide technical guidance to customers on correct equipment use

Ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer requirements

Manage van stock, tools, and equipment effectively

Respond to breakdown callouts and prioritise workloads

Maintain a professional, customer-first approach on every visit

What we're looking for:

We're keen to speak with engineers who bring hands-on experience, including:

Background working on forklifts, plant, agriculture, HGVs, or powered access

Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

A reliable, organised approach to mobile engineering work

Confidence working independently across Ipswich, Suffolk
