Microsoft Business Development Lead
Location: UK Wide (hybrid - client site travel when required)
A rapidly growing Microsoft consultancy is seeking a Microsoft Business Development Lead to drive growth across its Business Applications and Generative AI service offerings. This role presents a unique opportunity to shape and sell transformative solutions that help enterprise clients modernise operations, enhance productivity, and unlock new value through advanced technologies.
This is an opportunity to sell truly cutting-edge Microsoft transformation initiatives to forward-thinking customers, working alongside an ambitious team of experts who will be part of your close circle. You will also be a key figure when it comes to the growth of the business, offering opportunities for rapid career progression into leadership and/or decision-making roles in the future.
Role Overview
As a Microsoft Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, primarily within Financial Services, while also supporting expansion into other sectors. You will lead strategic sales efforts across Microsoft platforms (including Power Platform, D365, and Azure) and play a key role in positioning GenAI as a driver of meaningful business change.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to win new enterprise clients.
- Lead sales of Microsoft-based solutions, including low-code automation and generative AI-enabled transformation.
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships to support long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine go-to-market strategies and solution positioning.
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and performance against revenue targets.
- Leverage Microsoft partnerships to generate leads and co-sell opportunities.
Required Experience
- 5+ years sales experience within the Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform, Dynamics, Azure, AI, etc.).
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals (£1m+) and consistently exceeding targets.
- Strong network within Microsoft community.
- Self-starter with a passion for winning new business
- Skilled in consultative and strategic selling.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
