About the RoleOur client is currently recruiting a proactive and experienced MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment) & Training Supervisor to oversee the safe operation, maintenance, and training of all MHE across their site. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone passionate about safety, compliance, and developing people.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise the daily use and performance of all MHE (e.g. forklifts, pallet trucks, reach trucks)Ensure all equipment is maintained, inspected, and compliant with relevant regulationsDeliver and coordinate MHE training, inductions, and refresher courses for staffAssess operator competency and maintain accurate training recordsLead investigations into incidents, near misses, and equipment faultsPromote a strong safety culture across the operationLiaise with external training providers and service engineers as requiredSupport operational teams to ensure efficiency and safe working practicesRequirementsProven experience working with MHE in a warehouse or logistics environmentValid MHE licences (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent)Experience delivering training or coaching staff (formal training qualification desirable)Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations relating to MHEExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDesirableTrain the Trainer certificationExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Previous supervisory or team leader experienceIf you think you can make a real difference and drive higher standard, apply todayThis vacancy is advertised by an Employment Business where you will be engaged as a contractor through a 3rd party providerJBRP1_UKTJ
