The Role of Merchandiser Team Leader

* This is a dual-purpose position combining hands-on merchandising with team leadership. You will take ownership of a territory across the North West and M62 corridor, working closely with high-end independent retailers while managing a small team of field merchandisers.

* Visit independent retail customers, building strong and lasting relationships

* Merchandise and maintain high-quality display stands in-store

* Build and install point of sale and branded displays

* Drive in-store standards and support sales growth

* Lead, coach and motivate a team of 3 field merchandisers

* Track performance, manage KPIs and report on activity

* Ensure consistency and excellence across your region

The Candidate for the Merchandiser Team Leader

* We are open on background, but this role would suit candidates with experience in

* Retail or shop floor roles looking to move into a field-based position

* Visual merchandising or field merchandising

* Branch-based, trade counter or showroom sales

* Field sales or territory-based roles

* Any customer-facing or sales-driven environment

* More importantly, we are looking for individuals who are driven, ambitious and eager to progress into leadership

* Professional and confident when dealing with customers

* Strong communicators with natural relationship-building ability

* Hands-on, proactive and highly organised

* Comfortable working independently in a field-based role

* Ready to take ownership and lead from the front
