MEP Design Manager
Central London | Tier 1 Contractors & Leading M&E Subcontractors
Up to £90k + package
This is slightly unusual.
Normally I’d be advertising one specific role, with one specific business.
But, right now I am working on a handful of Design Manager opportunities across Central London - both with Tier 1 main contractors and well-known M&E subcontractors.
And whilst these are different businesses and different projects – the problem remains the same. They all need quality MEP Design Managers with exceptional understanding of how building services design translates into live construction projects.
Most of the projects my clients are working on could be categorised as large mixed-use developments across London (mostly central) and ordinarily the post holder will be reporting into the Head of Design or Design Lead – taking responsibility for the MEP side of the process and making sure the design is coordinated, buildable and delivered when needed.
Nothing wildly unusual in terms of the job itself:
You will be managing consultant teams, driving the design programme, resolving coordination issues and working closely with commercial and project teams to keep everything on track.
But what these businesses really care about is experience on complex projects and someone who can take ownership of the process with minimal fuss.

• an MEP Design Manager
• a Building Services Design Manager
• or a Senior Coordinator on the cusp of being a Design Manager
