The Client:Our client are a leading UK MEP contractor with a history that stems over 70 years. With an excellent track record delivering major projects in the commercial sector they pride themselves on being a true Engineering business that hold strong family values and a team approach to delivery.The Project:We are currently working on behalf of their small works division who focus on direct end user work in the private and public funded spaces. These are predominately deacarbonisation schemes and plant upgrades on existing commercial and government buildings including: offices, schools and hospitals.Projects range from 500k to GBP5 million and the role will involved managing multiple projects and a portfolio of circa GBP15 Million in the London region.The Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the coordination of MEP services on multiple projects taking responsibility for them from pre construction phases to handover. This will include managing the PM s on each project, client management and taking commercial responsibility for each scheme reporting the projects progress to the Regional Director.Responsibilities (but not limited to):Operationally and commercially responsible for the successful delivery of the portfolio of all contractsEnsuring Health and Safety standards are maintained to the highest levelTake overall responsibility for constructing the projects to a high standard, ensuring compliance with our client s specificationsControlling and managing project / site budgets including profit and loss, and managing budget constraintsMaximise profit, minimise risk & protect commercial interestsEffectively manage the operational and commercial teamOverseeing Project Managers and Sub ContractorsWorking with the procurement department to manage supply chains and cost effective purchasing on siteExecuting programmes effectivelyManaging change throughout the construction processEnsuring quality and consistency of workmanship across projectsRequired to maintain records / diaries and actively support the resolution of all construction issuesRequired to build positive and productive working relationships with clients; delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectationsBe able to motivate team members to achieve predetermined goals and targetsRequired Skills:Qualified with HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Trade qualified with the relevant management experienceExperience managing multiple projects in the commercial space, with a minimum value of circa GBP2M MEPHave experience working on the installation of infrastructure / plant packagesIn return they offer:A health pipeline of work with reputable clients and repeat businessA competitive basic salary and packageThe opportunity to progress to a senior management role and continuing progressing your career #J-18808-Ljbffr
