37 Hours per Week with flexible hours in line with the Services flexi-time scheme JOB OVERVIEW We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Mental Health and Wellbeing Advisor to join our busy Human Resources team supporting staff wellbeing across Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service. As a Mental Health and Wellbeing Advisor, you will lead the delivery of wellbeing initiatives, provide confidential psychological support, and contribute to a proactive culture of mental health awareness and resilience. This role involves close collaboration with HR, Health and Safety, and specialist teams, alongside travel across the service area. As a Mental Health and Wellbeing Advisor, you will also represent the organisation at local, regional, and national forums. Leading and implementing organisational mental health and wellbeing strategies Psychological Interventions:
Providing assessments, counselling, and evidence-based therapeutic support Confidential Support:
Offering confidential advice and support to employees experiencing personal or work-related challenges Trauma Response:
Supporting trauma management processes and contributing to post-incident care Training and Awareness:
Designing and delivering mental health awareness campaigns and training sessions Resilience Planning:
Developing tailored resilience and intervention plans for individuals and teams Stakeholder Collaboration:
Working closely with HR, Health and Safety, and specialist support services Data and Insight:
Analysing wellbeing trends and sickness absence data to inform initiatives Manager Support:
Advising managers on wellbeing responsibilities and employee support Representation:
