Plant / Mechanical Fitter – Trenchless Technology (Tracto-Technik Equipment)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plant / Mechanical Fitter to join a growing team working with industry-leading trenchless technology equipment, including Tracto-Technik machinery.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist sector, supporting the maintenance, servicing, and repair of advanced underground installation equipment.
The Role:
Maintenance, servicing, and repair of trenchless technology machinery
Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out effective repairs
Working both in the workshop and potentially on-site
Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and ready for deployment
Occasional basic welding where required (not a core part of the role)
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Plant Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
Strong mechanical knowledge (hydraulics, engines, plant equipment)
Experience with heavy plant or specialist machinery preferred
Basic welding skills advantageous
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
