Mechanical Supervisor - City of London

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to deliver projects across the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing turnkey contractor working with their highly regarded client, offering a strong and consistent pipeline of ongoing projects. As the Mechanical Supervisor the successful candidate will oversee mechanical teams on site, primarily managing plant replacement works and ensuring installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.

This role suits someone with strong site leadership experience who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and forward-thinking business that genuinely promotes internal development and long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise mechanical installations including HVAC, pipework, ductwork, and plant systems

Coordinate mechanical engineers, subcontractors, and labour on site

Ensure works follow drawings, specifications, and programme schedules

Monitor installation quality, progress, and subcontractor performance

Manage materials, deliveries, and site logistics

Support testing, commissioning, and project handover

Liaise with project teams and coordinate works with other trades

Maintain strong health & safety standards, toolbox talks, and site inspectionsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

5+ years' mechanical installation or building services experience

Previous supervision experience on UK commercial building and construction projects

NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering

SSSTS or SMSTS certification, and CSCS (Supervisor Card)

Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and site safetyBenefits:

Hours: Mon-Fri (7am-4pm)

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + overtime (where applicable)
