My Client is recruiting Mechanical Shift Engineers to join their established on-site engineering team at a critical environment in SE London, part of a wider engineering team.

Role Overview

Mechanical Shift Engineer

*

Planned and reactive maintenance within the critical site

*

Working as part of a well-structured engineering team

*

Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and regulations

Shift Pattern

*

Continental shift pattern – days and nights

*

7–7

*

2’s and 3’s days rotation

*

Over a 2-week period, you work 84 hours total

*

Average 42 hours per week (lower than the typical 48-hour shift pattern)

Salary & Benefits

£48,000 per annum (all-inclusive)

*

Pay review in April (increase expected)

*

Plenty of overtime available

*

4 shift teams, each consisting of 2 engineers

*

Stable, long-term role in a critical environment

Training & Progression

*

Training and structured progression routes available

*

Opportunity to upskill and develop within a large FM organisation

Support towards additional qualifications where required

Candidate Requirements

*

NVQ Level 3 or equivilant

*

Strong technical ability is essential

*

Ideally from an apprenticeship background

*

AP or CP qualification desirable but not essential
