Mechanical Project Manager Nationwide work Head Office based Northeast £60,000 plus package
An established and growing building services and facilities management contractor is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their delivery team on a national basis. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of mechanical projects across retail, healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial sectors, with individual project values of up to £1.5 million.
The Role The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This is a client-facing role requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities
Manage mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers across multiple locations Plan and manage programmes, resources, and project schedules Maintain strict compliance with health & safety and company procedures Control project costs, variations, and final accounts Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams Ensure quality standards and client expectations are consistently achieved Produce regular project reports and attend progress meetingsCandidate Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services or facilities management Strong track record delivering mechanical projects across multiple sectors Experience managing projects valued up to £1.5 million Sound technical knowledge of mechanical building services (HVAC, plumbing, plant, etc.) Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously on a national basis Good working knowledge of health & safety and CDM regulations Full UK driving licenceWhat's on Offer
