Mechanical Project ManagerWe're looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a design & build contractor in Manchester that's experiencing strong and sustained growth.You'll oversee multiple projects simultaneously - typically around five at any one time - ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on, commercially focused position that involves managing subcontract labour, maintaining client relationships, and driving project profitability.Key responsibilities:Lead and manage multiple commercial and industrial mechanical installationsOversee planning, delivery, and financial performance across live projectsManage subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and compliance on-siteTake ownership of project budgets, procurement, and client variationsWork collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth project executionPackageTotal salary: £66,000 - £86,000Bonus: £10,000 to £20,000 (linked to gross profit performance)Base salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Car allowance: £6,000 per annum33 days' holiday (including bank holidays)Opportunity to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking contractorRequirementsProven track record as a Mechanical Project ManagerStrong knowledge of commercial and industrial mechanical installationsExperience managing both gross and net profit across projectsConfident with procurement and subcontract managementWilling to travel nationally when requiredWR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
