We are currently working with a leading MEP contractor who are looking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) to join their team on a major Hospital project based in Keighley.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on a high-value building services project, supporting delivery from engineering through to handover, while working within a well-established and forward-thinking business.The RoleAs a Senior Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of mechanical building services packages, ensuring works are engineered to specification, delivered safely and aligned with programme and commercial objectives.Key responsibilities will include:Supporting the safe and efficient delivery of mechanical installations on siteParticipating in pre-construction and planning activities to drive programme and cost efficienciesReviewing project scope to ensure full understanding of client requirementsIdentifying project risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategiesEnsuring engineering solutions are delivered in line with commercial and financial targetsProviding accurate progress updates to the Project Manager and commercial teamManaging subcontractors and specialist packages where requiredSupporting and leading junior team members on siteBuilding strong working relationships with clients and stakeholdersSupporting project close-out, commissioning and handoverRequirementsProven experience in a Senior Engineer / Project Engineer role within an MEP contractor environmentStrong mechanical bias with experience delivering building services installationsTrack record working on medium to large-scale construction projectsGood understanding of programme delivery, commercial awareness and coordinationRelevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree)Ability to obtain security clearancePackageCompetitive salary (DOE)Car or car allowancePension (up to 8% employer contribution)Private medical insuranceFlexible benefits package (including dental, gym, travel, etc.)Employee assistance programme (24/7 support)Personal development and progression opportunitiesAdditional support for working away from home including £1450 p/m living allowance & 10% salary increaseJBRP1_UKTJ
