About the Role A leading global organisation in sustainable food packaging is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its high-performing engineering team. This is a key role where you'll be responsible for maintaining and optimising site machinery to ensure smooth, efficient operations in a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities * Follow all Health & Safety, Hygiene, Quality, and Environmental policies and procedures. * Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing of mechanical equipment as directed by the PPM schedule. * Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults quickly to minimise downtime. * Repair or replace defective parts on a wide range of machinery, including extruders, conveyors, compressors, pumps, motors, HVAC systems, gearboxes, and more. * Accurately complete maintenance logs, service reports, handovers, and Rhombus reports. * Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and equipment. * Act as Fire Marshal during emergencies and assist in weekly fire system tests. * Identify areas for improvement in equipment performance and suggest enhancements or upgrades. * Collaborate with maintenance colleagues, pr...
