Mechanical Maintenance Technician Blackburn £46,8002 Weeks days / 2 Weeks nights Panama Shift 12 hoursMechanical Maintenance Technician The Role You will be tasked with both reactive and planned maintenance across my clients manufacturing machinery. You will be focus on continuous improvement of their factory and will participate in improving health and safety across the organization. Mechanical Maintenance Technician Main Responsibilities Maintaining and repairing blow and injection moulding machines, problem solving and resolving hydraulic faults. To provide technical support on the machines, supporting the shift leader with machine setups, and helping improve cycle times. To carry out regular quality checks, proactively participate in improving Health & Safety within the organisation, and generate and carry out engineering improvement projects. The use of workshop equipment such as lathes, welders, and grinders.Mechanical Maintenance Technician The Candidate Mechanically biased, ideally with qualifications in engineering. Must have a good operational understanding of hydraulic fault finding and reading hydraulic drawings. Ideally have experience with pneumatics. Process driven and be able to communicate your approach to fault finding.
