To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
Proven background in mechanical fitting, ideally within heavy industry or bespoke machinery environments Strong knowledge of gearboxes, motors, bearings, couplings, shafts, and related assemblies Able to confidently read mechanical/technical drawings and schematics Good welding skills (MIG & Stick essential; TIG would be a bonus) Basic hydraulic knowledge beneficial but not essential A flexible approach – willingness to travel to client sites and work occasional overtime A full UK driving licence preferred Within this position, you’ll also be:
